Augmentations: Different SSD

Notes: Oh, I like you. This is a simple CPU upgrade from the $2000 build. This is basically as good as it gets without spending an extra $500 on an i7-6800K and compatible Motherboard.

Augmentations: Maybe get even more RAM? If you're willling to spend this much, another $100 or so isn't going to hurt.

Notes: Show's over. I decided to wrap up with a nice-looking build. Of course, you could spend more on LEDs or get a better case or whatever, but I didn't have the budget for those things. This is the cutting edge of remotely affordable computing. Beyond this point, you have the i7 6800K, 6850K, 6900K, and 6950X. All of these require crazily expensive motheroards, and upgrading to an i7-6950X would double the price of the build, with no real improvement in-game. There's also the Titan X Pascal, but that's about $2000 by itself. You could also try SLIing GTX 1080s, but the performance increase would be hit-and-miss, depending on the game.
