Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming at a comfortable fps. Mostly for playing League and maybe be able to play modern games on high. I'm usually limited by games that are years old (Neverwinter Nights, Kotor, Diablo, etc.) so it would be nice to player newer games. I was also recently gifted a nice ultrawide monitor that I want to put to good use.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

At least 1080 on a stable fps. High would be good enough, but ultra at 30fps would be nice too. Honestly I'd be happy to play games with shadows on lol

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Around 670$. I would prefer not to spend higher than 700$. I've been working extra overtime to save up for this, but I need to start saving for college expenses soon.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

United States

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

This is my first time attempting to build a pc, so I'm very much a noob. I've always been curious with building a gaming pc, but I was always put off by the amount of money required to build a PC. I heard about the capabilities of the RX 480 through youtube and my interest was sparked again. I also want to use the hard drive on my current pc if possible rather than buying a new one. I searched around here and if I understood correctly as long as the hard drive has the same ports as the new mobo it would work? I used Piriform's Speccy app and it says 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-75ZF5A0 (SATA).

This is also my first post so feel free to criticize my format. Thanks!
