Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
I will be playing AAA games now and for the next few years. I will also be VR gaming with a Vive.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
I want at least 1080p @ 60fps, and am considering trying to use it for 1440p. In VR, I want high enough resolution and frame rates to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
Around $850
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
USA
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.
- Thoughts on the motherboard? I got it as a daily deal yesterday on Newegg, it seemed like a good price for a decent mobo.
- I am still not sure if I want to go with an RX480 or GTX 1060. I like that the RX480 will probably last longer because of its better performance with DX12 and Vulcan, and that freesync monitors and cheaper than gsync. However, if the GTX 1060 can get noticably better VR performance, I'll stick with it. I already have the MSI GTX 1060 on its way to me, but can always return it and get a Sapphire RX 480 Nitro instead.
