I am still not sure that I will really need a 6600k over a 6500. I am willing to overclock it, but would I even see a difference on games for a long time? The 6600k is only $190 on jet.com, but I can use a micro center bundle, get a cheaper non Z-170 mobo, and not buy a fan which might save me a fair bit of money. I would like to do so if the step down from overclocked 6600k to 6500 wont significantly impact gaming performance or longevity of the PC.
I have a MSI GTX1060 coming in the mail, but may end up going with an RX 480
I plan on ordering today if not making any major changes, since the MOBO deal wont be around for long.
Looking for general feedback, recommendations, etc.
