PC just shut off unexpectedly. Case fans still light up when I turn power back on, but no image on screen.

So I had just finished playing some fallout last night and was going to go to bed when my PC shut off all of a sudden. When I went to turn it back on, the tower lights and fans kicked on but there was no image on the screen.

I tried messing with the wires, disconnecting the gpu and reconnecting and such. First few times I didn't get an image and the fans and lights were on again (power was even going into the usb ports). After a bit i got an image again on the screen, but after about half an hour it shut off again.

What is most likely to be causing this? Is my psu dying or my gpu?
