Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes I have

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming and general use, no streaming though.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

1080p for now, hopefully 1440p eventually. Looking for 60fps and over, I plan on pairing this with a 144hz monitor. I think I might try my hand at a mild overclock, this is my 2nd build.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Not sure on this just yet, but $1000 is where I am comfortable. Especially since I already have some parts

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

USA

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Please don't feed me anything, I'm a big boy now.

Provide any additional details you wish below.

Trying to build a nice, clean white/black rig. I already have a PSU, 2nd SSD, and a temporary GPU until I get a GTX 1070 or 1080. I am mostly wondering if it's even worth waiting until that fancy new Broadwell stuff drops then see what the landscape looks like. I also would like to ask if 32 gigs of RAM is worth the extra $60 it would cost me with this build, would it allow me to multitask with multiple monitors easier, such as game open on one screen and Chrome open on the other? Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thank you
