Spec: Fx 8350 at stock speed as of right now - Coolermaster 212 Evo * Asus DCII R9 280X - 16 GB DDR3 Ram 2 4gb sticks from Gskill, and 4 Corsair Vengence in dual channel mode at 1600 Mhz. - Gigabyte UD3 Rev. 4.0 w/ F2 bios 1 Kingston SSD 120GB for OS * 1 TB WD Blue for Program Storage 1TB WD Green for recording Storage

The intended use for this machine is a gaming, streaming and video production rig on a budget. I live in the southern US and since summer temps are inbound I decided I needed to perform the second part of my 3 part upgrade, which is to update my storage drives, case, and make the transition from air to watercooling on my CPU so I can overclock without burning my dwelling down lol.

As of right now I am really interested in the Phanteks Enthoo pro case. It seems to have good modularity, airflow and smart design. I need a spot for a CD drive as I still use it from time to time. I am also looking at upgrading to a 850 Watt PSU. Looking for one that is fully modular so I don't have to deal with excess cables. Would like recommendations for that since I have no idea which brands are reputable or not. Currently running on a Thermaltake 700 Watt TR2 non modular PSU. it runs well but I'm pretty sure I am near my power ceiling as it is and adding more stuff to it probably isn't a good idea. Friend of mine recommended one from EVGA? I haven't dealt with them personally though. For storage I found a killer deal on a 480 GB SSD from Scandisk that is 120 and change. not a bad price per GB there. I'm also going to pick up a 2 TB WD blue to replace my program drive so I can get rid of that green one. I really notice the speed difference on that old thing. For watercooling I have set my sights on the NZXT Kraken X61. That should be more than plenty for what I need.

In summary the new upgrades I'm looking for are as follows: - Phanteks Enthoo Pro * Scandisk 480 GB SSD 2 TB WD Blue - Kraken X61 280mm radiator * New psu 850 Watt: need recommendations???

If any one knows of a good deal or a more inexpensive substitute for these parts let me know in the uh comments? not sure what its called here lol. Pardon me as I'm new to Reddit.

Thanks in advance!
