What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming and regular use. I don't need to be able to play everything at crazy high settings but the best I can do on a budget would be nice. Newer games like Fallout 4 and the Division on high settings.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

1080p, 60 FPS, Medium/High.

The purchased parts are from my 2010 rig. I'm hoping I can resuse them still.

• Not sure if there is any reason I would need a new PSU?
• Sound card might as well throw in.
• Need a case still. Doesn't need to be fancy or have space for an optical drive but prefer window and USB 3.0 front panel.
• I probably don't need a CPU cooler since I'm not overclocking but I figured it can't hurt?
• Picked the Z97 mobo because it was basically the same price as the H97.
