Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do) Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

My colleague's current PC is at the end of it's life and he kept telling me about wanting to go to PC World and get a ready computer, so I told him I could build him one from scratch, as I have done with mine before. Admittedly, my close friend helped me with building mine 2 years ago, and even though I know which parts are better etc, I still need some help optimising the build.

My colleague's only wish with this PC is to be able to play EVE Online on Max settings. I googled the requirements and that's what I got:

OS: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 CPU: Intel i7 Series or AMD X4 @ 2.0 GHz or greater RAM: 4 GB or higher Video: AMD Radeon 6790 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 or better with at least 1 GB VRAM

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

Anything to be able to run EVE at max settings and perform every day web browsing with ease.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

When I first looked at the parts about a week ago, I told him I could make him one for £570, as his budget was £600. Now, that I put them together again, after my friend told me that 750ti is not that good and might as well get a 950, I changed it and added some other parts (fans) that I forgot about too and now I'm at £658. So, budget as small as possible just to run EVE on max.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

UK

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).
