Was playing TF2 yesterday. Didn't hear anything weird from my computer. Switched to the Sims 3, and started hearing almost harmonic singing noises from my case. High, varying frequencies that would stop if I alt-tabbed out of my game. It seems to be coil whine from my GPU, but I'm unsure.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
Changed fan settings with MSI afterburner thinking cooling the GPU down would stop the vibration. I also took the case cover off. Nothing changed.

Sorry for the bum cable management. I don't care enough for it to matter.
Provide any additional details you wish below.
I built this back in May and the whine started yesterday. I replaced my case with the 100R and added the fan in the last few weeks but I've been monitoring my GPU and CPU temps - they haven't exceeded 50C. Will MSI accept an RMA now? I'm gonna be pissed if I have to send it back, considering I'm very happy with this GPU and I don't have the money for an upgrade. What else can be done to prevent coil whine?
