Hi all,
I'm quite new to building a computer and computer parts them selves (well in depth of them). I've decided after a few years of being a laptop man, that I want a desktop. So I went to Pc Part picker and got someone to make me a list then after a lot of googling and video watching I changed it a bit.
This is my current list -

My use for this build is basically I love gaming but not like a proper gamer. I'm more of a casual gamer, but when I do play games I love them to look the best but also love performance to be great. It will be used for other things such as web browsing, photoshop, emails all that stuff. I'm a bit iffy on over-clocking, I don't know how that works too much I would be willing to do it but only with some form of guide.
I've been looking at monitors a lot and and want to know would I be better off going for a 1080p monitor or could I go with 1440p and get great performance (roughly 60fps on some heavy games like Ark, Arma, minecraft with shaders, heroes and generals, cities skylines). If spending say another $100 could improve this to make it what I want for 1440p then I could do that. I'm just putting out feelers at the moment so I can get an idea of how much money I'm going to need to save up. I don't want to lash out, I really would prefer to not go over $1650 AUD.
Do note, I am from Australia so if you edit the partlist make sure it stays in au. Cheers :)
