What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
Basic HTPC, moderate computational work, acting as a remote Linux system to access my distant Linux work environment.
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).
I've already purchased all the parts in this build. I'm still waiting for the box to arrive, but the rest are on my desk.

My question is this: The Gigabyte website for the mobo specifies "Due to different Linux support condition provided by chipset vendors, please download Linux driver from chipset vendors' website or 3rd party website." I have no idea what this means. I think this means that the H97 chipset requires that I install a special driver? I don't even know how to do that? I don't find such a driver at the Intel website, and a google search on "Intel H97 Linux driver Gigabyte Motherboard" and various related permutation yielded no help.
Lil help?
