[Discussion] what was the dumbest thing you've ever done during a PC build?

Post Body

I built my PC a few weeks ago. Put everything together, flipped the psu on, hit the power button, nothing.
I troubleshooted for hours. Checked my psu 4 times. Rewired the power buttons. Read every manual twice over. Tried a jump start. Nothing.
Turns out, when I put my processor in, I forgot the processor. Yea. I attached the fan to my mobo without the little box that says "intel" underneath. I discovered this when I looked through all my empty boxes and saw it neatly packaged in a sleeve of the processor box. Took the fan off, put in the processor, plugged everything in... bam, working computer. D'oh.
