Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yep!

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

My main goals for upgrading my pc will be gaming and running multiple virtual machines.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

Currently I have 1 1080p monitor. I'd like to be able to run at 60FPS.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

600-700 euros

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

the Netherlands.

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list.

Provide any additional details you wish below.

My current setup is as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7 860

MOBO: MSI P55-GD65

RAM: 2x OCZ Intel Extreme 2GB DDR3-1333 CL7 XMP kit (8GB total)

GPU: EVGA GTX970

PSU: Corsair TX850w

CASE: Antec 900

Over the years I've changed parts when I needed but the cpu is 5-6 years old I believe and I think it's holding back on performance.

I'd also like to upgrade the case, the current one doesn't have filters and it's pretty low on room (I have 3 harddrives ssd in there so... it's not really helping airflow I think)

I think my GPU / PSU are fine for now. Currently I play GTA5 and I think if that runs on very high at 60FPS it would be fine.

Thanks for the help!
