So, normally I don't really ever need help but I came here to make sure I don't make a big mistake just because I am impatient.
Currently I am trying to save for my own place, but I have money to get either a video card or upgrade to a new board and a 4790K. I have decided to get a new graphics card...
I recently got my new ACER XB270HU which is 1440p and 144hz. I originally was running a 1080p monitor at 144hz.
Current I currently have a 780 (not a TI), and a i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E Quad-Core 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 2011
Question/options:
- Should I buy a Titan X
or
- Should I stick with current 780 and wait for 980 TI or new generation in 2016?
or
- Should I buy a regular 980 or 970?
If I don't end up buying a new graphics card and I end up waiting, I will just be upgrading to a 4790K and an ASRock Z97 Extreme6...and a new fractal case
