Update:
So, I'm buying a pc based on the advice given here. You can see the specs here. The price was a bit higher, $2600 including VAT. This is mainly because I live in Denmark, where prices are higher. Fortunately, I'm buying it for my own company, so I can deduct the VAT and end on something like $1850. Mission accomplished. Here are the specs I ended up going with: http://i.imgur.com/Q87jMUa.png

Hi guys, my first post here, so I apologize for broken rules in advance.
So I’m starting my own business after working as graphics designer for a company. I have a lot of experience assembling pc’s but it’s been some years and my knowledge is terribly outdated. I don’t have hours and hours available to read up on the newest hardware specs and matching and it seems there has been an insane development in especially graphics cards with so many options to choose from. /r/buildapc please help a dinosaur build a great pc.
Possible issues:
My main software will be Adobe CC and most importantly from that package; Premiere. I will be editing a lot of H.264 footage in 1080p25 from different sources so it is essential that the graphics card is optimized for Premiere, CUDA/OPEN CL etc. I am really hoping to achieve excellent real time and render time performance with this machine. If the card is certfied with Autodesk Inventor, that could be sweet but in no means a dealbreaker.
Specs:
Minimum 500 GB SSD
Min. 2 GB graphics adapter certified for use with Adobe Premiere CC
27” monitor with at least 99% sRGB color space
A decent mouse good for long stretches of work. I’m thinking a gamer mouse of some sorts, they seem to be ergonomically designed.
A silent as possible. I can accept the fan is audible during renders and heavy processing but nothing annoying. I have to work with this machine 6-8 hours a day.
Is anyone in here up for the challenge? I have no preferences to brands at all, although I believe that matching is preferable.
Edit 1: Everybody thank you so much for contributing. I think I have enough to get me started for now and if you are interested, I will keep you posted and even put up a performance chart of some kind. Let me know.
Edit 2: I know the new MacPro and X-99 and similar builds have excellent performance, but they are simply too expensive at this point. Also, I would like to think that there is an alternative to the Mac approach without compromising.
