Post Body

Hello R/BuildAPc! I am new fellow and after spending some time reading the sidebar and watching some videos to ease the thought of building a pc I am finally ready to get the parts to start the phase. Here is a build I picked for myself for an $800 budget. I am a moderate gamer and I don't mind running at 30-60 frames on a game. So if there is any improvements I could make or better suggestions could be given that would be greatly appreciated.

Some questions I have are:

In the videos I have been watching I see that the builders have a bunch of power cables. Are these supplied from the motherboard or from the other parts that I buy? Or Do i buy the power cables separately?

What exactly is a PSI expansion and will I have to do it for my graphics card or my mother board? At 7:50 it is done after the harddrive on this video and I was confused.

The only note in my build is "Some Intel Z87 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs." Do I need to be worried about this?

Is an SSD required?
