Ever had one of those builds that just stumps you for a while? The parts appear to be fine, they all function separately, but together they just throw you for a loop? That was this build. For a while I just thought I had a DOA motherboard. Unfortunately, I built this computer just before moving, and then lugged it a few thousand miles to another country. As you can imagine, that rather screwed up any RMA process I might have attempted.
So, I left it in the corner for a while. I tinkered with it about once every three days, but nothing seemed to click. I was biding my time, waiting until I'd be able to exchange what I thought was the faulty part.
Today I decided, why not do the full battery of tests one more time? Reset the CMOS, take the entire thing apart, check every connector, do a world class cleaning, reseat the heatsink, etc., etc.
Well, I don't know what I did differently, but I'm now proud to say I have a working build again! It's too early to call it a day, and I'll be keeping alert for any problems, but thanks to those who helped me with a few questions I had a couple months ago.
Here's one crappy picture because I'm tired as fuck and my cable management is horrendous.

Edit: Aaaaand I moved it to my work area, and it's not working again. It's gotta be something loose somewhere, or the outlet is bad.
