[Help] My shortcuts are broken (Windows 8.1)

So I have multiple hard drives on my new rig; 120gb SSD for OS and a 1tb HDD for my program etc. For some reason some of my shortcuts seem to be broken, for example my windows media player shortcut is broken. I managed to find the actual .exe file and linked it so now the shortcut will work when I search for it, but the icon is still just the blank page icon. What's happening, did I mess up my install?
