  • I'm looking to spend $1000 max although I would go over slightly if it was worth it (I'm in Canada so the price of the current build is actually closer to $1300 with taxes/shipping)

  • I have a DVD Writer and 2 hard drives (1Tb and 2TB) that I will be taking from my current computer for this build mouse/keyboard/monitor etc.

  • I will mainly use this computer for gaming/general use/music production with Ableton Live and I want a solid, fast computer

  • As for games, all I really play now is Civ 5 and Diablo 3 (so I don't think these have very high gpu requirements) but I would like to have the option to play newer games with high quality settings (I don't need to have ultra maxed out graphics, just.. pretty good/great)

  • In the specs for the graphics card it stated that a 700W power supply was the minimum amount of wattage, but that seems excessive, do I actually need a 700W supply? (I originally had a 270X GPU but decided to upgrade that)

  • I would like the option to have future upgrades, part of the reason I selected the mobo but I have no real interest in overclocking

  • Is there anything that would be worthwhile upgrading (or even downgrading)? I'm mostly set on everything although I'm considering upgrading the GPU and I'm just wondering about the power supply wattage..

Thanks for reading, this will be my first build!
