I asked for a Newegg gift card months ago because my mom does Christmas shopping really early. My computer build is about 4 years old now and just about everything needs upgrading. I'm fine with building a new PC, but in the last week I got a job offer.

Strangely enough, the job would relocate me back home, and I'll be living with my parents for a while, at least until I can find someone to sub-lease my apartment so that I'm not paying double rent.

I won't have a desk or office or anything for my desktop PC so I probably won't bring it home, at least not for the first while. If I've got no incentive to spend money now on upgrading/building a new PC, is there something I can do with my gift card now? If I've been thinking about buying a new TV, is Newegg a good site to get it from? Same question with video games, other electronics, etc...

I only ask in the case that there are good parts out now that will go up in price in the next few months. Besides that, I know it's probably smart to wait and I'll be better off using it in six months.
