Ram question advice would be appreciated.

I just purchased a set of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory but just noticed it runs at 1.6v. Now I am fairly new when it comes to specifics in parts. From what I can see the cpu that i purchased as well i5-4670k 1.5v and it will simply reduce the voltage down?? Is it that simple or will the cou reducing voltage affect the performance in a negative way?
