How's it going! I originally posted earlier with the intentions of creating a PC that primarily plays movies and games, but I decided against the latter and opted to focus on the HTPC aspect of this build.
I currently stream all my media files from my laptop to my PS3 as well as connecting the laptop to the TV to stream Live Events (Football, UFC), but I was hoping to avoid all of that with having a stand alone PC. My biggest concerns for the build was the size of the pc itself, the ability to play/stream all video sources flawlessly, longevity of the unit, and to keep the price as low as possible.
Of note, I do have a 1TB 3.5 HD from an older pc that's about 3 years old, but I am not sure if it's 5400 or 7200 rpm so hopefully that could factor into the cost.
Sorry to bug you guys on what appears to be a really active day, it's just that I'm excited to get this build going. Thanks again and every bit of information would be greatly appreciated!
/u/inferno5k recommended this keyboard/mouse combo, but it's sold out. Hopefully someone knows of an equal/better deal. Thanks again!
