About to build my first custom gaming pc and at first was going to go with the 280x over the 770 as it is very recommended but lately I have saved a bit more so the 290 and 780 are a possibility. Now with my situation I only have one 1080p monitor although I am planning on getting another one so I can have the internet up while gaming. Is the 780 and 290 overkill and not needed for this type build? Also its a I5 4670k type build if that helps.
