Primary use will be for light photo processing (Lightroom) and eventual editing (Photoshop, once I can afford a license).
For gaming, the objective here is to be able to max-out Skyrim on a single monitor, possibly two in the future (All other games I play are less intensive). Current monitor is only 1440x900, so I imagine the 7950 won't have trouble maxing out just about anything on that?
I am torn between the FX 6300 and an FX 8350. Is the $70 extra worth it? Will I notice much of a difference? I'd been toying with an i5 Haswell build, but couldn't find a CPU/Mobo combo that wasn't $150 more than an AMD FX build, and don't really know if it's worth it.
Have already purchased the RAM and Case via deals as I saw them pop up.
Any input is appreciated!
