My housemate studies architecture and is in need of a PC for "architectural design, 3D modelling, and scene rendering and image manipulation." I haven't upgraded my own PC for a few years so I'm a little out of the loop with current hardware & prices, and haven't built a PC for use with CAD before. His absolute max budget is £1200 but being a student lower is better. Any advice on the current parts would be much appreciated!
He'll be using it for AutoCAD, SketchUp, and probably REVIT. Only other thing he's worried about is Minecraft but I'm fairly certain this should handle it!
