My current system is coming up on 6 years old and it's starting to struggle with newer games. I'm considering building a new gaming/video editing system sometime in the next few weeks, but I don't know much about the computer parts market trends...
Is now a good time to get fairly future-proof components for decent prices? Or would it be better to wait? I've considered waiting until Black Friday/Cyber Monday as well, but unsure if that would make much of a difference.
I don't need anything super-urgently, but would prefer not to wait more than another 6 months or so, unless there's a very good reason to.
Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
