My son received a graphics card as a birthday present. Its an RTX 3050. We did some due diligence before hand making sure there were available slots, etc.
We have an unexpected challenge powering the graphics card. It has an obvious 6-pin slot for power. The instructions just show plugging a cord in to it.
It sounds silly, but how do I do this? It didn't come with any power cord. There are no extraneous power cords inside the pc being unused. Even if I bought a 6-pin PCIe cord, I can't figure out where the other end would hypothetically go.
