Help Upgrading Two PC Builds

Post Body

Good evening Reddit. I have a couple of PC builds that are nearly similar. And I want to upgrade the Motherboard and CPU as they are they are getting a little old.

Build 1: Mine

Build 2: Family Member

I only have a few requirements for each.

  • I would like to have the same Motherboard/CPU combo for each if possible.
    • Both are in full sized ATX towers, so space shouldn't be an issue.
  • I want to stick with AMD sockets.
  • My price per PC upgrade is $400 - but can push it to $500 if need be.
  • I would like the Mobo to have good fan control as Build 1 has four RGB fans, with room for a fifth,
  • I am prepared to upgrade the PSU on Build 2 if it needs more wattage to account for the new Mobo/CPU (that is not included in budget. Will simply buy another of the 750W build 1 has).
  • Both cases should be able to fit an after market CPU cooler (including AIO) if you think it's a good idea.
