Screen going black for a second regularly with HDMI

Hello!

I have encountered a problem after getting a hold of a used RTX 3080 10GB, when using my monitors standard HDMI 2.1 cable. The issue is that the screen goes black for 1-2 seconds every 20-40 minutes. Here is a brief explanation of the issue:

-It does it no matter what port I use tried switching ports both on the GPU and monitor
-Dropping the refresh rate didn't help
-Windows and driver reinstall didn't help
-On Displayport 1.4 with DSC, it works perfectly in 1440p 240hz 12 bit

I have one more test to do, put my GTX 1070 back in the system and try it with HDMI (I've only tried the Displayport on that GPU).

I'm going to do that soon but I figured I would ask to see if anyone who had a similar experience.
