I wanted to install a second hard drive into the my laptop. The laptop came with a caddy and screws for a second drive, but not a cable. The guy at my tiger direct store said that most laptops need a specific cable from the manufacturer for hard drives.
Anyway, I removed and took pictures of my first and current hard drive, and its cable. Hopefully, I was thinking maybe one of you guys could confirm what the tigerdirect guy was saying. I would like to avoid spending $30 just for a cable if a basic SATA cable could do fine.
