Hopefully this is an appropriate place to ask, because I don’t really know where else to ask this!
I’m looking for a monitor arm that allows me to sorta push my monitor to the side when I’m not using it, because the only spot for my desk is unfortunately right in front of a window, and I want to be able to look out the window when I’m not using my computer. I have an amazing 100 year old desk that I never want to get rid of, and unfortunately it doesn’t have much of a “lip” that a monitor arm could clamp on to. I’m struggling to find options that are freestanding, and would love some recommendations if any of y’all have them. I’m also open to other methods of stowing away my monitor if you have them, I just don’t know of any besides the monitor arms.
Edit to add: already considered a wall mounted monitor arm to the side of the desk, but I rent and really don’t want to screw up the wall.
