I need some help figuring out a build. I’ve current got an M1 MacBook and an Xbox. I don’t play a huge amount of games, and they’re generally fine but I’ve still got some things that I like to play that I’m having to run via parallels on the Mac and it’s… not great.

I want something small I cheap I can stick on the shelf with my Xbox for those few games that need windows to run. The games in question are things like World of Warships/Tanks, Battlefleet Gothic, They Are Billions etc etc. nothing too new or taxing!

I’ve got an old mitx build with a Ryzen 2700 and a GTX960 but it’s pretty dated, draws more power than I’d like and the case isnt exactly small for an mitx build.

I’d debated an ROG Ally or a little Ryzen micro pc to stick behind the tv but they’d have less gpu power than I’ve got access to now and I can’t convince myself to downgrade even though I might not notice it and I’d save on power usage.

Do I scrap the current build and get something new? Grab a new case for what I have? Replace the lot with a handheld?
