Help with an old build

So when i built my first rig around 3 years ago which has the following

Msi x570 tomahawk wifi (built in oc &pbo enabled as I don't want to break shit) Ryzen 5800x Gigabyte 2080 rtx 64gb ram 240 artic water cooler 2x m.2 drives

I noticed today when putting in some new mx6 past that the 4 pin cpupwr2 is not plugged in.

Now I have never had an issue but should I plug this in or just leave as is? Will there be any difference?

Again I was very new when I built this so apologies for silly questions Although my cpu clocks idle at a nice cool 28⁰ so I did something right
