So I have a i5 8500 cpu 65w with a stock cooler in a prebuilt pc and it runs fine and seems to do everything I need. I do have a i5 8600k 95w from my last PC build that worked fine for 4 years and then I could not diagnose the issue, tried everything and replaced just about everything, so I gave up and just bought a prebuilt. I can’t use the water cooler I was running as I don’t have the space. So I was wondering if the stock cooler would be fine under gaming sense it has a higher TDP should I have a issue or will it possibly run the same or cooler sense it can technically handle the load better? I can’t overclock it in the computer, so the K part is worthless but I have it! Thanks for any insight!
