I currently have $200 (₱10,000) in cash and I'm considering two options: either selling my current PC for $150 (₱9500) ( the $200 cash) to purchase a new one or keeping my current PC and using the $200 to upgrade it with second-hand parts.
Here are my current PC specs: - CPU: i3-8100 - MOBO: ex-h310m-v3-2.0 - GPU: UHD 630 (Can handle games like Dota 2, Farlight 84, GTA V, CS:GO, Valorant, Fortnite, and Mir4) - RAM: 16GB Kingston 2666mhz (8x2) - Storage: 128 GB SSD for OS, 1 TB HDD for Storage - PSU: 700W / lc-8700btxn generic PSU - Casing: Generic Black with exhaust RGB fan - Monitor: 19 Inches, 60Hz
I've come across a listing on Facebook Marketplace that I'm considering if I sell my current PC. ₱18,000 or $317, it includes: - CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 - GPU: MSI Ventus XS GTX 1650 4GB - RAM: 16GB (2x8) - Storage: 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD - MOBO: MSI A320M-A PRO MAX (with store warranty) - CPU Case: Inplay meteor with fans - Monitor: Nvision 24" 75Hz Curved
I'm concerned about potential compatibility issues (like which PSU I should get) if I upgrade my current PC, particularly with the GPU, and I'm also wondering if a new PC is worth the price and specs compared to upgrading my current one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
