I snapped a pic of the slant I'm talking about
So, I'm trying to fit this Silicon Power XS70 4TB drive SSD into the top M.2 slot of my MSI B650 Carbon Wifi Motherboard. I thought about yanking off the NVME's original heatsink but I read somewhere that the adhesive on the bottom heatsink is super strong and could mess up the drive if I tried to remove it. So, I popped the NVME into the M.2 slot, and the connector end fits just fine. But the other end, which is supposed to be held down by a motherboard clip, has a slight tilt with a small gap beneath. It's kinda slanting up a bit. Should I be freaking out about this? And should I think about sending the drive back? I snapped up the 4TB for a steal and it'd be tough to get another fast drive like this for the price I paid.
