Build for 1440p gaming advice

Hello looking to build a PC from scratch since mine fried it self and was in need of an upgrade anyway. Mostly looking for a build that will last atleast 3 years at 1440p 144hz. Budget is 1500$. I was initially thinking a 7700x and a 4070 or 6950xt from brief googling but I have lost touch with all the PC specs so I'm unsure of what would best suit my needs for the price or if it can go below budget.
