Good morning

So i have a prebuilt pc that i bought back in early 2020, these days i think it's a bit out of date and can't run new games, or more importantly for me, newer skyrim modlists very well.

I've never built or even taken a pc apart before, but i think now is as good a time as any to learn and figured manually upgrading a part would be an okay introduction.

Problem is i have no idea what any of the stats and numbers attributed to pc parts actually means ;-;

I'll list my pc specs below and hopefully i can ask for some advice on what's most important to upgrade, and recommendations on what a good upgrade is? i will say i'm operating at a max budget of 500£, though i'd prefer going for something a bit more affordable if possible.

CPU: Intel Core I5-9400F 2.9GHz (Hexa Core)

Motherboard: H310 Chipset [Max 2 Sticks of Memory]

Ram: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4

GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB

Storage: Primary SSD 120GB, secondary SSD 1TB

Thank you if you're able to offer any help!
