[Build Help]About to start buying, so of course I must beg for one last look through

Post Body

I'm looking at the first suggestions I got and this one and I kind of like were I've gone. I upgraded the motherboard to one that can later handle another video card and more RAM if I ever need it, plus space for an additional HDD if I ever run out of 3 TB of space.

I splurged a bit for the G.Skill RAM rather than the Crucial I had before, but that's also offset by the fact I'm going to take NewEgg up on their offer of $25 off and 6-months no interest for signing up for their credit card. All in all, it comes out cheaper.

I ditched the second HDD that I was going to RAID because it really wouldn't solve the problem of losing data any better than just using Carbonite or one of those types. I would still have to buy a new HDD anyway and it cuts $130 from the upfront (yes, it means a monthly cost, but my wife had been wanting it anyway, so that frees resources for elsewhere).

The case is for longevity - its got plenty of space, is quiet and I plan on reusing it for any additional builds down the years. Maybe that's a bit naive (I hope not) but at just under $100, worst case I owe my wife a nice dinner out. Same goes for the SeaSonic, but I'm quite sure that Watts will be Watts in the future.

Last two are my splurges - a nice 27" Monitor that seems great for its specs and a return to my favored Logictech - I had the previous version of that mouse and loved it. That and I can't get enough of timepieces. Yeah, that's one of my weird "things".

But, I am a CPA and I know I can obsess, so I'm going to bite the bullet and start buying (or placing on backorder, in some of these cases). Any last minute suggestions on changes/options?

I really appreciate all the help I've received. I've gone from not even considering building my own PC to feeling pretty damn good that I can pull this off... and even better, this build I feel I can expand (have the Wattage and space for another video card, another HDD and more RAM) plus the ability to ditch and still keep some of the stuff intact (case, monitor, etc). Thank you everyone!
