Hello,
Looking to build my first PC on the newest AM5 platform. I have done a fair share of research and there seems to be an abundance of problems revolving around 7000 chips combo with various motherboards. I'm trying to build this rig around a 7800x3d chip and 6900xt gpu. From what I've heard the issues are more prominent on Asus boards so this brings me to my next question. Has anyone with these boards have any good experiences with the combo they can share? Are these issues resolved on the newest BIOs update which is 1202 I think? This is my very first self build so I'm a bit nervous on wrecking the system and my wallet. Is the new gen worth the hassle and extra bucks? Or should I just build on a Am4 to save money and the headache? My budget is 1.7k (no gpu included) aiming for a stable 4k rig to shoot on the LG G2 oled.
This is the build I'm aiming at, please advise where necessary!
