For a while I had noticed an anomalous behavior of my PC while starting-up and I wonder if someone had experienced similar issue before:
At times it fails to fully power-up at startup(no post, no fans and only HDD's are starting to spin up) and it would reset every 20s or so to try again, either succeeding after 2nd/3rd try or completely getting stuck.
Usually this only happens if PC is powered down but not disconnected from the mains overnight or for at least couple of hours.
Surprisingly this behavior can be alleviated relatively easily by powering down the PSU or cutting off the PC from the wall and waiting for any residual power to dissipate.
As I haven't noticed similar issues with my previous machines(thought I had a habit of always cutting off power at the power strip back in the day, which I do less due to frequently suspending my machine) I'm curious if it's more common occurrence or a sign of issues with a motherboard.
For anyone interested I run an AM4 setup based of Asrock AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard with 3rd gen Ryzen.
