Will be upgrading my pre built Lenovo legion 5i tower here soon. After learning that the manufacturer motherboard pretty much doesn’t last long, figure I’ll upgrade it. I am still newish to the PC gaming so forgive my ignorance and such.
My main concern is transferring Windows or whatever you call it to make it work with my new MB. Also, I do not have a lot of room to work with and i have like a small TV dinner folding desk and I am 6 feet. I was thinking about working on my carpet floor with a cardboard box flatten out, or use the tile flooring with the cardboard to avoid any static shock. Got some hairy pets planning on having the window open as well.
Thanks
