new cpu... PC posts but doesn't open windows

Specs MOBO: Asus prime a320k Old cpu: Ryzen 5 1400 New cpu: Ryzen 7 5700x Ram: random pair of 8 gig sticks 3200mhz GPU: MSI 3050

Okay so as I was saying ive recently upgraded my cpu and now after it posts it just sits at a black screen. I have tried everything taking the battery on the motherboard out and put it back in to reset bios settings, updating the bios, updating motherboard drivers and even triple checking that my motherboard is compatible I'm just kinda at a loss right now. I've put in the old cpu and everything works fine with it still anyone have any tips?
