Hey all. I'm new to Linux AND never built a PC before. I got enthusiastic about both over quarantine and installed a couple different distros on a couple low powered machines. I'm ready for a (budget) upgrade and was wondering if I maybe missed any compatability issues. (if you see a non-linux related problem please let me know as well. ) I am probably going to go for Manjaro but haven't fully decided yet.

My usages are complicated. I'm a cinema industry professional but not really an editor so I needed some power, but there's not really much software I can't live without. I don't really use any one piece of software very regularly. But from time to time need power and performance out of my computer. Some of the mildly demanding things I do/want to do on a computer:

• Push high res video around networks (NDI)
• light occasional gaming
• Run D&D online with friends (would like to stream)
• light 3D modeling for 3d printing and hobby animation
• just experiment and learn about random interesting computer tasks.

Asus Prime B450 A M microATX mobo - $80 (Might upgrade once I can find a dang full ATX mobo anywhere)

Ryzen 5 3600 w/ wraith cooler - $170

Crucial P2 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD - $70 (Hoping to add a big SATA SSD for storage eventually but wanted something snappy for the OS)

Gigabyte Radeon RX580 8GB -$170

I know nothing plz help - also did I forget anything?
