Just some intro: so I lost my corporate job (for the nth time) and just got this "side gig" to keep me afloat. I'm not "flexing" or posting it yet since I'm still considered in a sort of "probationary/trial basis", but as per my new "boss/owner" there's a chance for me to be fully absorbed by their company. So right now, I'm not totally counting on it as "successful transition" to full-time freelancing yet. (I already had some experience with freelance, but it was part-time/trial basis too and I still have a full-time corporate job that time)
Now, going back: my client uses Wise to transfer payments to bank account, and it has been more than 3 days. I'm using RCBC, and my bank keeps on telling me na wala pa silang nakikitang incoming transfers sa system nila.
Honestly, it's getting more frustrating already at nakaka-walang ganang magwork lately. But since I'm in a contract already with them and sure...I need to make a good impression since bago pa lang ako, right now I'm just forcing myself to render work. I also have some bills to pay, on top of other important things to attend to, and I want to get this out of my mind as soon as possible.
Questions:
I've read some posts and comments here na matagal talaga pag RCBC, pero meron din within 1 day lang. For those who are currently using RCBC, gano siya katagal lately? Actually, hindi ko na alam kung alin ang nagpatagal dun sa posting ng payment sakin ni client - is it WISE, RCBC, or BOTH? As per my client, may delay daw sa Wise side...pero yung ibang kakilala ko, BPI gamit nila at wala naman daw issues lately since nakuha naman nila within the day yung mga payments sa kanila?
Because of this experience, I'm thinking of alternatives. Besides BPI, BDO, and Unionbank, do you guys know any other local banks na mas maganda experience niyo? I'm looking for a right balance of shorter transfer processing times, high conversion, and lower fees. Okay ba Metrobank, EastWest, PNB, or Gotyme?
I'm also thinking: Wise (client's account) > Parallax (creating my own account) > Any local account, including RCBC (except BPI, BDO, UB). For parallax users: okay ba transfer processing times, fees, and conversion rates pag galing Wise (client) to Parallax (my own account). I've also read here na once pumasok na sa Parallax, mabilis na lang from Parallax to local since they use Instapay. Is this true?
Your insights will be truly appreciated. Thanks!
