Hi everyone. Im a full time corporate employee. Tbh, I only work 3hrs max during my shift and I already get my shit done.
I recently tried looking for part time online job (I already had experience freelancing during the pandemic) and got in a call with 3 different clients.
1st client - All goods but she was looking for a full time employee, which I declined kasi I wanted a part time lang and I have a main job pa which I think mahirap incase may mga pa adhoc meetings. So I declined.
2nd client - project. 2 week contract for 55k. With time tracking. Flexible time. They have a dedicated team from northAm that I should be closely working with. Startup business.
3rd client - Project. 2 week contract din. No time tracking. No dedicated marketing team, so I'll be building their online presence from ground up and on my own. Roughly 40k for 2weeks.
Is my decision to decline client 2 and deal with client 3 bad? Sobrang deal breaker for me ung time tracking na yan. I explained to them na time tracking is not necesarry blabla pero sobrang dinidiin nila na its the best for both parties daw. Nag alibi na din ako na may mga days na baka mahina internet and Id have to work overtime to catch up with work stuff the following day pero ayaw parin. The thing with client 2 is nakukuha ko na parang hindi lang one time thing ung gusto nila, based lng sa pag uusap namin parang naghahanap din sila ng full time employee na iaabsorb. So i was thinking baka nasayang ko ung opportunity na makapag work sa team nila.
Although 40k for 2weeks with client3 is not bad given na its a fixed contract. Medjo nasasayangan lang ako habang iniisip ko ung client na yun. I could have arranged a better terms with them.
Any thoughts pampalubag loob?
