so i currently have this dilemma if i should let go of my client to find another client or another job.

i have been working with them for almost a year now. startup company, so expected na you really need to wear multiple hats and that’s fine with me naman. i was able to learn a lot on this company. my current setup there is per hour, and this is where my dilemma comes from. hindi kasi ganoon kataas yung per hour ko rito. i am only a part-time staff here but i need to work almost full-time (like 7 hours per day) para lang sumweldo ng higher than average. i also don’t have benefits here except sa $20 bonus na binibigay monthly. so syempre if aabsent man ako or what due to other commitment or what, wala rin akong bayad. no work no pay. kaya parang ang sahod ko pumapatak lang ng above minimum sa pinas monthly pag di ako nagwowork ng 7 hrs per day.

idk, it seems unfair to me given na nagagawa ko naman yung mga tasks, and those tasks are actually not simple esp yung mga may kinalaman sa web dev. i also learn everything from scratch, they just give out the task and i figure out myself most of the time except for admin tasks. i feel like hindi dapat tantamount sa kung ilang oras yung tinarabaho ko yung sswelduhin ko per cut off due to the workload.

kaso here’s the other side of the coin: di ko siya maiwan kasi it’s my primary source of income now. alam ko na ang hirap maghanap ng client/other work, so i’m worried na baka di ako makahanap agad ng source of income. also, flexible naman yung working hours, plus they are medyo lenient naman on when where or how you work.

pero at the same time kasi, aside sa setup on sahod, medyo di na rin kasi amusing for me yung work. nawawalan na ko ng gana magclock in most of the time kasi parang it’s the same shit tapos magkano lang sasahurin ko. di na rin ako naeexcite unlike before. i don’t see myself working with then for the next years to come. parang gusto ko ng work talaga na naeexcite ako. yung kahit pagod ka the fulfillment is there. kaya pinagiisipan ko rin bumalik sa onsite work kasi baka yung setup ang problem . kaso sa mahal ng bilihin mukhang di rin worth it. also dami ko nang ibang inapplyan pero either di ako cinocontact or di ko rin gusto yung setup haha. maarte na kung maarte pero kung yung papalit sa work ko now ay mas malala pa, wag na lang haha.

i was thinking kung pwede ba irequest na fixed rate na lang yung sahod instead na per hour, kaso for sure malabo dahil lahat ng tao dun sinusukat per hour yung tinrabaho for the salary except yung manager lol. idk anymore lol gulong gulo na ko if magsstay ako o hindi. need ur thoughts
