So I’m fairly new to Reddit, and for some of the forums I’m in I end up getting a lot of DMs and private comments from people I’m not following and stuff like that. When opening the requests a lot of them are from people I’m not interested in talking to, so I press ignore. If there’s someone I start talking to and I lose interest, I block, mute, and hide the chat. I’ve had no issue with this system until shortly before my phone forced the new Reddit update. Now even if I press ignore the requests just move over to my messages as though I accepted and I get my DMs blown up, and when I block someone I still get notifs when they try to reach out to me or when they delete something from the chat even though I can’t see what exactly they’re saying. I have over 100 messages and none of them will go away. What do I do about this?
