Rewatching season 7 and I can’t help but wish there was more nostalgia in it. Maybe it has to do with the fact they were probably shooting when they thought S8 would still happen but, with it being the final season I wish things came more full circle. I wish we would’ve gotten more graveyard scenes, and I don’t hate the idea of ubervamps but I wish we got to see more of those classic vampire prosthetics. Or some soapy scene of her going through her closet and seeing the prophecy girl dress & reminiscing.

I remember watching for the first time and Angel appears and I was so giddy and happy because that felt complete.

sidenote when Xanders looses his eye that was such a reality check! And looking back they were really building up to it the entire season
